RADIO.AM and RADIO.FM, the new Global Domain for RADIO

There have been some minor changes to the launch of .RADIO.AM and .RADIO.FM Domains.  Please note the changes in RED below. 

Sunrise Info:

• Sunrise Period: May 28 - June 28, 2013
• Sunrise Applications will be treated on a First-Come-First-Served basis.  Multiple Applications will NOT GO TO AUCTION!
• Acceptable Characters: Min. 3, Max. 63, letters, numbers, and hyphens ("-") - however hyphens at the beginning or directly in front of the TLD will not be accepted
• Registration Periods: 0 Years (non-resolving block)
• A successful ".RADIO.AM" or a ".RADIO.FM" application will cover both Domains, meaning if your application for "example.radio.am" is successful, you automatically also get "example.radio.fm"
• Sunrise Pricing:
  • Reseller Non-refundable Application fee: 94.01* (net price: 79.00) USD/Domain
  • Premium Non-refundable Application fee: 88.06* (net price: 74.00) USD/Domain
  • Platinum Non-refundable Application fee:77.35* (net price: 65.00) USD/Domain
  • Sunrise Billing will commence on May 28, 2013
• All successful Sunrise applications include a 10 Yr block on the domain, which prevents anyone else from registering it. For those wanting to use a Sunrise domain, an annual registration fee will apply.

Landrush Info:

• Landrush Period: July 1 - July 31, 2013
• Landrush A: Govt. Licensed Radio Station (Official Call Signs) - First Come First Served.  To apply for a Landrush A, you are required to fill out the following form http://radio.fm/Landrush.pdf and send this to [email protected]
• Landrush B: General Public - Multiple domain requests go to Auction at end of Landrush
• Landrush A and B will be held simultaneously and Landrush A will supercede Landrush B.
• Acceptable Characters: Min. 3, Max. 63, letters, numbers, and hyphens ("-") - however hyphens at the beginning or directly in front of the TLD will not be accepted
• Registration Periods: 2 - 10 Years
• Landrush Pricing:
  • Reseller Annual: 17.73* (net price: 14.90) USD/Domain/Year
  • Premium Annual: 16.54* (net price: 13.90) USD/Domain/Year

Pre-registration Billing: (IMPORTANT)

HEXONET will start withdrawing DEPOSITS for Sunrise starting May 28, 2013 and for Landrush starting July 1, 2013, in preparation of submitting pre-registered domains to the registry. For Go Live applications DEPOSITS will be withdrawn starting July 29, 2013. These deposit deductions are only to reserve funds in case all your Pre-registrations are successful. Deposits will automatically be returned back to your reseller account if any Pre-registrations are not successful or if you delete it prior to the submission to the registry (for Go Live 48 hours prior to the actual launch).

Please note, for Sunrise and Landrush the Non-Refundable Application Fee is charged at submission time (successful submissions) to the registry. The reserved deposit funds, collected for the Sunrise and Landrush application fees, are used at the point of submission.

Go Live applications deleted more than 48 hours prior launch are automatically refunded back to your reseller account. Please note, that Go Live deletions are not permitted in the last 48 hours prior launch.

Pre-registration via Control Panel Made Easy

Pre-registrations can also be submitted through the Control Panel by logging in and navigating to "Manage Products > Pre-Registrations".  From the Pre-Registration, users will be able to view, check, modify or delete any Pre-registrations without charge up to 48 hours prior to the launch date.
